hello.. quick question

i got a 07 gp sport and speackers are 100 brill

just wonded if i can upgrade my system with out changeing my head unit ?

if you can what should i go with ?

How much you willing to spend?

Do you have a 3 or a 5 door?

how much mechanical/ car savvy do you have?

Install a active sub? Pretty hard to come by but it's a Fiat part

First thing i would be doing is ripping out the OEM speakers ive done mine the other week in my GP evo (and did my last GP as well) The speakers are naff. Paper cones with the worlds smallest magnets (my rear drivers side one had failed completely (no sound) so needed doing....

I installed a full set of these: not the best but do sound surprisingly good

fu6 and fu5 (front and back)

Some aditional sound proofing in the rear panels is a must too imo whilst you in there it makes sense to do it

i used 4 a side

at this time of year a heat gun is needed to soften the pads and warm the body work to ensure good adhesion


Will move this to the ICE section where the car audio nerds hide

not a big fan of sub as had one in last car but use the boot so much just need as much room as i can have..

im looking at anything 100 - £300
but dont think i will have the car too long..
