hey hope someone can help i bought a aftermarket stereo and removed my old fiat standard one plugged the new one in and it doesnt power on at all any ideas? and i did look at the guide but its a bit complicated for me and took it to halfords and various other places and no one seems to have a clue im in aberdeen with a 1.6 stilo 2003 sport active thanks

New to check the wiring diagrams on both head units match

Need to check if it requires a switched live as there isn't one as standard on modern Fiats

Fiat wiring is not compatible plug and play with aftermarket stereos even thought the wiring fits, you need to invest in a wiring adaptor and set it up correctly you will also find there is not switched live so you'll need to manually turn the new radio off when you stop and leave the cat, to avoid a dead battery

Join the red wire to the yellow wire or vice versa they should be on bullet plugs/y bullet sockets for joining them together
