So i've spent the last week crawling though hundreds of posts on connecting an aux cable to the connect nav system. I've found a few possible solutions but all the threads and replies i've looked at are very unsure on a guaranteed solution.

The solutions i've found are:

http://www.ktduk.com/product/fm_modulator_wired_transmitter_ipodhttp://www.ktduk.com/product/fm_modulator_wired_transmitter_ipod_mp3/

- a hard wired FM modulator which wires directly into the cars ariel. With this you can plug any MP3 player into it, the signal is sent to the ariel and you tune the connect nav into the correct station to hear whats playing on the MP3 player. There are a couple of posts on this but only one person seems to have successfully wired it. if anyone else knows anything about wiring this i would very much appreciate pictures, diagrams etc just to make it easy for myself :p

http://www.bluespot.co.uk/car-audio.aspx/7607897093-adaptor

- this is an adapter which plugs into the same place on the back of the connect nav as a CD multichanger. this means you can only have an MP3 player connected OR the multichanger. I thought this would be the best solution so i purchased the cable however when i plugged it in the CDC icon became greyed out and nothing else happened. I noticed one person has said that fiat have used a different pin layout to the standard, which appeared to be the problem in my case as the pin colours on the adapter i bought did not match the colours which the multichanger used... Any help on this would be ideal as i already have the part! The other solutions are all variations of this cable.

My question is, is there anyone who has successfully wired an aux cable into a connect nav system (baring in mind i have limited knowledge of how to wire this type of thing) and if anyone has could you post some pictures and walkthroughs of how it was done?

Many many thanks to anyone that can help!!
