i am just wundering if any 1 knows how the proformance is,

No, the headunits are pretty good, you can get them very cheap on the net.

Ive had Sony Xplod speakers and dont really rate them But have heard mixed feelings about the subs/amps

I have an Xplod amp powering my sub, and I think its excellent, especially for what I paid for it.

I've had an Xplod head unit before. Can't fault it. I wish I still had it actually. Was ace.

I had a 1200W sub with a 1200W amp,

Doesn't kick as well as some 1000W subs I know

i got an X-Plod headunit, cant fault it. So much i havent even considered replacing it 2 years on...

the 4x54w was great at the time, it has 2 RCA outs and dedicated sub out, good equaliser (by HU's standards), and takes some abuse. Hook up an MP3 cd changer / aux input box and its compatible with just about everything.


Never had their amps. My old mans got their 6x9s in his range rover and sound ok off his headunit, as do a couple of my mates. They aint bad, but nothin special

Could partly be due to the amp as well?
