Grande Punto underseat subwoofer

Hi,

Am thinking about buying one of the blaupunkt under-seat subwoofers, as the wiring for the fiat factory sub option is not present in my car.
I want to keep the existing factory fitted blaupunkt head unit, and have seen an iso adaptor which plugs into the head unit wiring harness, and apparently gives you a dedicated subwoofer output via a single rca cable (I have noted theres a red and a white rca socket on back of the pblaupunkt subwoofer, but I think blaupunkt sell an adaptor to make the single rca into a twin one, which could then be plugged into the subwoofer......would this be right? or have I got the purpose of this adaptor harness wrong???
I am thinking this would be preferable to trailing high level speaker wires to the sub from the back of the head unit.

Has anyone got any feedback on any of their slimline/underseat subwoofers, as I have not definitely made my mind up yet if I am going to get the blaupunkt one...am getting swayed by the circular "in-phase" one which seem to have great reviews....any thoughts???
