hey all

Just bought the mrs a new stereo for her (old) bravo that I just bought for her.
Phillips head unit from halfords £160 but the aerial you get is some horrid magnetic thing
Tha manual gives you great hope when it says it may fall off if driven fast, not only that but you have to have the wire going in between the door seals!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know if another regular aerial can be used, im scouting the net for a solution.

Provided the plug will fit the DAB radio your existing aerial should be fine. No doubt there will be all sorts of magic claims for special aerials for DAB sets but dont get sucked in...

Its a special connection, 'smb' type. They can be found on RS catalogue, rang up some where in notts and they said about £100
Ive butchered aerial so it is hanging in front of wind screen for the best reception . Still not what I want really though

Try Maplin, you may be able to patch something together yourself.
