Does anyone know what the cheapest option is to get DAB in your car? The Blaupunkt standard radio in my punto isn't great and the sound quality is pretty poor, so I think that getting digital is the only answer. But i'm confused about headunits and seperate ariels, boxes etc...just wondering if anyone is a little the wiser on DAB??

Some factory head units are DAB compatable and some are not. If you,like you head unit try and find out if it is or not. Chnaces are that its not. In which case you can either buy a cheap DAB compatable head unit and get a DAB 'box' to go with it or get a more expensive head unit that includes everything or has the 'box' built in.

And the one uve put up from ebay is what you are looking at. It is not a very good example at all, but you cant complain for that price. And you wont be able to notice the difference unless your running it through non factory fitted speakers.

I've found a Blaupunkt one for just over £200 that I think i'll go for, as it's replacing the blaupunkt one in the car, so it should be simple....
That ebay one looked pretty rubbish in the end, and blaupunkt are meant to be good.

before you commit to it, try searching on www.kelkoo.co.uk for the best deals on the net. I use it whenever i'm internet shopping outside of eBay.

Blaupunkt arnt bad. As Smurfhead said, try searching for that specific model on kelkoo...... you are bound to find it cheaper somewhere else.
