cool! whats a vin?

Vehicle Identification Number. - its the number what is the stamped plates on the cars chassis in engine bay etc.

its a long shot, ive never had to do it so could be wrong, but a quick call to em may at least point u in the right direction. other option is to buy and fit an aftermarket head unit. will prob get better performance out of it than the stock radio and may accommodate ur needs better (cd/mp3/usb etc)

ow easy is to install a new radio ? As its seems to look like one big piece rather than just change the radio, if that makes any sense!

look on ebay, u can buy the facia surround. some come with the radio removal tools as well, but a bent coat hanger will also work. u will see on the front of the radio 4 holes, one in each corner. basically u put the tools into these holes at the same time and it will click out a lil. may need a fair bit of pressure to do this. once u dont that, u pull out the radio, disconnect the wires and job done. u can then push on the facia surrond. fitting the new head unit is easy, connect the cables (depending on what HU u get, u may need an adapter but any half decent audio store/autofactor can advice and supply these is needed), these are normally self explanatory, but can always check the instruction manual if u need to, and just slot it in. try to feed the cables down the hole as they can get in the way and stop the new HU from slotting in all the way.

so the "fascia" is what i need? What CD/MP3 player would yous recommend i install?

sorry, im new to car stuff!
