Hi guys, I have happily got A Sub and AMP running, with 6X9's running from back shelf.

Now I want to run these from an Amp I have just bought, I have also Bought a Fused Splitter, to divide the power into to outputs....

What's my next step? Do I need some kind of Cross RCA cables? On my H/U I have Rear and Front Outputs, Can I just run an RCA cable to the FRONT output on H/U ???

Cheers

you can run it off the Front Pre out... but i woudlnt cause it will mess up your controls, then you cant distinguish between front and back.

you can split the rca and make it go into two amps. get these from www.bassjunkies.co.uk or any good audio stockists or ebay..

make sure they are good quality and bling bling gold plated (y)

PS if your running 2 amps you might wanna upgrade your power cables that come from the battery and ground as they might not carry enough current to power both amps to their capacity...

hope that helps

i always thought it was best not to split the rca leads  - but im a bodger

the remote turn on will need to be split too, so the second amp turns on with the H/U too

either way is good i think... my amp has audio in and out rca (so you can daisy chain on one RCA) as long as the cabiling is up to it i dont have any noise...

i was jus thinking he might want some speakers in the front later and need the front pre-out

Hi guys, cheers for all the info I went out and did it.

I already had a glass fuse at the front, and uprated one plus the power cable is uprated...

I got some RCA splitters and a Fused Splitter from maplins, all the gold plated ones.

I split the incoming power into the fused block and then had the two outputs going to the two amps. Split the RCA cables, with some splitters from maplins, The earth cable are standard size, but I doubled up and just had two seperate earth on the one contact point....

All sounds sweet as **** now, Loud as hell :)

Cheers
