Steering Control with Aftermarket HU

hi guys,

my OEM Grundig AH182 H2 failed and decided to go with aftermarket. after days of research in internet, decided to go with Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB54 because the connection is very close to my original wire harness except the steering remote control buttons. besides that, it got tons of features!

after playing around with it, i can only get TEL MUTE if I press/hold any buttons on the steering wheels. i understand that i need a steering remote control interface to work with it.

can anyone suggest a workable interface for Fiat Marea Weekend 2000 that works with Blaupunkt?

i found one unit in ebay by Connect2 part CTSFAB001. seems like will do the job but he don't send to Malaysia. Anyone can help please?

for those who are interested! finally, i got the Autoleads interface and it works beutifully with my aftermarket Blaupunkt HU. love to have the steering wheel control function back. much safer when driving!

could you send a link, im currently looking towards a pioneer with stalk control compatiblity and having a nightmare sourcing the leads needed for the steering buttons.
did you have to cut any leads ie to the can or add any leads?
we went to legoland last week and sat in traffic for over an hour at st albans turn off on the m25, three kids 2 of them under 3 made it the journey from hell so i need the dual zone dvd now just to keep them quiet.

basically, u need to get 2 things, the stalk interface + a patch lead compatible with your HU.
