Looking to put some new speakers in my MK2 Punto basic model (3Door)

Bought it & AFAIK still just the basic speakers in the front. No speakers in the back. With a crappy Ministry of Sound head unit that didnt play CD's

Im pretty much clueless when it comes to ICE. So ill be getting a mate to wire it all up. So i just need advice on what to get.

I've bought a 2nd hand Kenwood KDC-W4044U head unit and need some speakers to go with it.

Not looking to spend a fortune just something half decent that will run off the HU. Should i just go for some rear speakers & wiring. Or is it worth changing the front speakers as well.

You dont need rear speakers, its just a waste of money. The Punto has very little clearance between the door and the window so these are very good vale for money and easy to fit in.

Looks no bad. Excuse my total ignorance. Would i need an AMP for these or would these run off the Head Unit.
Also . Where would the tweeters sit. Im assuming its not easy to remove the standard ones.

Its not that difficult to change the speakers. It all depends on how far you want to go TBH. There more work you put in the better the outcome. Have a look in the guides section and see if there are any on how to change the speakers or remove the doorcards for other purposes.

Obviously an amp would be advisable if you have the funds to do so. When i have more time that the 30 seconds i have right now then we can help you with the theory to help do it all properly.
