Hi, I wondered whether anybody could please healp me.

I have just bought a new cd player as my old one went faulty and blew the fuse a few times recently. After installing the new cd player and replacing the fuse I noticed that although the key is not in the ignition. The battery light on the dashboard is on and I can still use all my lights, indicators etc with no key in. I just wondered how I could stop this.

Would really appreciate any reply.

Thanks.

Paul.

how have you done the wiring? straight swop of plugs or have you cut and joined some wires?

Richie

Hi thanks for your reply, the wires in the punto fit straight into the back of the cd player, no other connections etc were needed. Should I check all the connections? If so which do you think would be the wire causing the prob, thanks.
