hi

i have an 06 plate grande punto.

everytime i turn my sterio up the bass rattles the interior light... alot!!

this is the only rattle in the car, i have skinz sound proofing on the boot floor, boot lid and the doors.

is there anyway to stop the light from rattleing because it is getting very very annoying!! hahah

Download some sine waves and play them through the sub. Find one that makes the rattle and put it on repeat.
As you have a constant wave it should be easier to locate the two parts that are making the sound. Then you just need to put something soft inbetween them so they dont vibrate together.

In English D) he means music is made up of loads of different frequency sounds played on after the other, the light will only rattle when your sub hits a certain frequency, a Sine wave is a music track that just consists of that frequency and nothing else, like a constant whine or in your case it will be a repetetive beat maybe.

Finding the right frequency that causes the rattle and leaving it on repeat will allow you to work on the problem while its rattling. Which means you'll know when you've sorted it.
