Basically, a friend has sold his car, but pulled his head unit out last minute so didn't take the wires out, hes given it to me and said if it works i can have it. Problem is... I dont know where to get the wiring or plug for it for in the back?

Its an import so contacting the maker is a no no... I was just wondering if any of you had an idea... Its an EONON E0832... Quite a nice head unit actually, so would like to get it up and running in my car...

If you can help i'de much appreciate it.

Cheers guys

So he left the whole loom plug in the old car? I dont think you have much chance of geting one then. Your best bet is fleabay or you never know you may be able to track down the manufacturer some how and speak to them.

Yeah theyre the badgers cheers. Ive emailed them to see if they can get hold of one. The head unit was on ebay last week, someone else was trying to sell one and it went for 36 quid. i should have just bought that... nevermind though eh.

Im sure this will be a good unit if it can last longer than a year... Ill be keeping the old one just in case!

Cheers for your help (y)

I personally think it was a great piece of kit, managed to get the head unit working in my car, the quality of the video was good and its easy enough to use. However, due to me having to wire the head unit myself the circuit shorted shortly after installing it and smoke gushed from the unit!(n)

However, the head units themselves appear great, its just my wiring that isnt.

Let me know how you get on with it! (y)

I cant see how dodgy wiring can ruin a HU. Unless you had a poor but a unit will not work without an earth. Generally the wiring is working or not working. You dont get half working. If that were the case then the Amp rise through the cables would melt them before blowing up the HU.
Sound like another case of cheap far eastern crap failing to me. (y)
