Hey All,
after searching endlessly for somewhere to find info on Fiat Bravo's i found this site and whilst it seems to be the best place, i have not found anything regarding fitting Double DIN units on Bravo's (maybe thats just me not looking hard enough!)

in any case, ive recently purchased a 2009 Bravo, and i love it, just the stereo is a bit limited, and B&M seems pointless when aftermarket units are so much cheaper/better.

ive also purchased a Pioneer FH-P80BT CD/MP3 Double Din Unit With Bluetooth and was wondering if anyone had any hints/advice on installing?

not just about my Pioneer unit but Double DIN's in general.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

thanks.
Seb

Hello Seb,
I am working in a car DVD player company more than two years, and I Know that most double din DVD use ISO power cable, so it is very easy to plug off your old car radio and instead it. If it is not ISO line, you can connect it as follows:
ACC line and Batt 12V connect to +
Ground line and Brake control to -
then four pair of speaker lines connect to your car speaker
Hope this can help you.
Merry Christmas!

Hello Seb,
Usually it doesn't need fascia adapter kit, the accessories of Pioneer is OK.
if you don't know how to install it, you can go to your car service places to install for you. Installing this products is a little bit professional

ah ok fair enough, ive tried fitting it all but the wiring has gotten the better of me!
so am going to take it somewhere to have it done by people who don't manage to shred their hands by simply trying to remove the standard radio... lol
thanks for the reply in any case!

Have you searched things like stereo removal as they are all the same pretty much with fiats. The wiring should be plug and play apart from pluging the red wire on the new ISO harness into the spare yellow. It really should be a 10 minute job.

yea have tried all that, but the adapter is wired differently so its a case of putting the correct wires in the correct holes in the adapter so they link up with the correct ones coming from the car, except i have no idea which wire from the car is which! also bear in mind that i have no experiance at all with car audio...

as you can see when the two are joined up, wires aren't being connected with anything, whereas others are. but i just have no experiance with any of this kind of stuff and am terrified of doing damage to something!

I dont think it will be difficult i can talk you through it but i would like to see a wiring diagram for the bravo first just so i can be 100% sure i am correct.
I think that my stilo was the same or my punto and i used the same loom.

by wiring diagram do you mean i need to draw one? as i cant find one anywhere...
and your're right if i could get that diagram things would be a lot easier!

Hi Seb. I'm sure you can just go to Halfords or some ICE store and buy a pioneer to Fiat Bravo harness adapter, cost about £20. One side fits to your pioneer wires and the other side to the Bravo wiring harness. I bought one to fit my Alpine although admittedly single din not double.
