Hi Guys,

I just bought a pair of Pioneer TS-G1718's to replace the crappy Fiat speakers in the front doors of my 2002 Mk 2 bog standard Punto. Can anyone tell me which wires (purple/black and pink/black IIRC) are postive and negative?

Just try them. One way will work, one wont! It wont do any damage to ure speakers. Or one way will be slightly louder. Hope this helps. Dan

To work out which is negative or positive hold a small battery (size AA) between the ends of the wires when there connected to the speaker. Youl hear a small 'pop' when there correct.

If you get it the wrong way around all that will happen is the speakers will be out of phase.
