Hi all,

My brava came without any stereo and without the curved panel which the fiat original stereos fit in.

First question cna you fit a din stereo in the frame thats behind that panel or do you need to get some sort of extra housing..?

Second question my kenwood stereo has a phone mute lead hangin out of it that I have never used. I noticed when looking the other day that the iso connectors have a pinout for phone mutes. Anyone know if this is connected on the Fiat iso connectors and what does it provide exactly..? Is it just a live wire that powers the phone sensor in the stereo or have I got completely the wrong idea about what a phone mute does.

Cheers
Rolf

There are two fascia's available for the bravo/a. Ugly one from Halfords or a nice looking one fromm autoaudioaccessories

Once these are in the standard stereo will fit.

As for the telephine lead, that goes to hands free kits. The kit sends a signal to your stereo when the phone is ringing etc and puts the stereo in attenuate (low volume). Volume back to normal when call is terminated.

See http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/ice.htm for more streo gubbins :)
