Hi ladz,

1) anyone know of any free-air subwoofers that are good value for money but not overly expensive ??

2) Any websites where i can find them ??

cheers

Just have a search.
The problem with them is that you need a very well sealed area for them to kick off. Like a well sealed boot also you cant have crap in the boot it disturb the vibes.
If your trying to save space in the boot then this is not the best way forward IMO due to the fact that you wouldnt really be able to use the boot.
Also these are very hard to set up if you dont know what you are doing. I wouldnt like to even imagine which phase to use and how to set gain ect without doing some extensive research.
Please note that this is an uneducated answer so dont take it as gospal truth.

Get a normal enclosed sub in correct size enclosure. The size is very important. It doesn't need to be massive and as above would mean you could use the boot without affect SQ. will sound good and be much easier to set up. Decent freeair subs are more expensive so you'll save money going for enclosed.
