I have the punto mk2 sporting and as from last week i have gotten a whinning noise from the speakers as i accelerate, the higher the revs the louder the noise..... sounds like im taking off wen i put the foot down!!! I have the standard blaupbunk cd changer which comes with the sporting, already checked all the connections...

Ne help would be great!?????

do u have amps installed? if so make sure all power cables and speaker cables are kept seperate. the power cable interfers with the speaker cable as the amp draws power from the battery. if ur still gettin the noise there is something you can but i will need to find out what it was as my friend had the same proble with his 106 gti hope this helps

you checked connections on speakers too? and aerial? is that plugged in properly?

an earth loop isolator will stop the noise, but it shouldnt happen in the first place so carefully check the connector on the sub in the boot, give it a wiggle.
