is it possible to fit 5.25" in them?

I appreciate that I could fit 6x9's in the parcel shelf, but I really want front components right now.

If I get desperate I could always carve the door cards but I reckon my ones would be difficult to find if I screw up.

So if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated

the dash mount speakers are a really really stupid size, if I remember rightly, theres very little that you could actually fit in there. you might be best off to just put some speakers in the front doors. maybe put some small 3" mid drivers in the dash mounts...

I dont think 5.25's would fit in there.

they are a really stupid size. It's not even possible to fit 5.25's in the standard back locations!

I took the cover off as I was curious to see whether or not it would be do-able. the good news is that the space is big enough but im not sure if they will fit as there are some awkward points to work around.
