I just put in my sony headunit to my punto got it all wired up ok (except for one yellow sorta blob thing which had about 4 wires going into it, didnt fit into my head unit) and all the front speakers working fine as is the left rear speaker, but the right rear speaker isnt working, and the sub only works with the radio not with CD. Its the factory fitted 100watt sub and all speakers are standard (for now!) Just thort it was kinda weird because why should the sub work with radio but not with CD? anyway i think i remember reading about someone with similar prob on here but i looked for the topic and couldnt find it if anyone has any info would be gr8 because i need to wait for my m8 to come round and fit all my new speakers (should be about 2 weeks time) but i dnt want crappy tinny sound until then when playing cd's!

My guess, is that you've hooked up the amp's remote power connection to the automatic aerial connection instead of the amp remote output. Sony have two blue wires (one is blue and white, one is just blue), one for the aerial, and one for the amp, the one that is solid blue is for the amp, the one with the stripe is for the aerial.

just swap the wires over
that'll almost surely solve your problem.

I proberbly should also point out the reason for this.

that is that most head units will put out a 12v signal through the aerial power output, only when the the radio is the source thats in use. the amp remote output is on when ever the headunit is active.
