does anyone else have this problem with their GP?

I've changed my front speakers, but the drivers side one seems to make this horrible vibrating noise. It's definetly not the speaker, as i actually went out and bought another one only to find its still there.

Something on that bastard door card is shaking, as you can only hear it when its properly bolted to the door.

Its deffo coming from around the "speaker grill" area. but just cannot put my finger on it.

I've removed the plastic plug down there that holds the card to the door frame, still vibration continues. checked whether any leads are hitting the speaker cone, none are.

driving me mad:bang: its embarrasing to even have the radio on above 10 as the passenger side just vibrates.. urgghhh

i had vibration from the doors aswell
i found it to be the pocket place for storing things in the door (at seat level) , were the pocket ends and the plastic meets plastic.
if tht makes sense

only thing i could say is get a dynamat door kit should stop it (y)

Hope This Helps Tom

Cant be THAT hard to track it down if you've already stripped the door down my fellow Telfordite? :D

Sorted.

The thick cabling for elecy windows etc that runs around the outsides of the speaker holes ARENT 100% stuck in place.. i.e they can rest against the door frame, and due to the sheer mass of the cabling, it actually vibrates harshly.

Ive taped it as best as I could flat onto the door frame, and hey presto, very very little shaking (as good as you're gonna get in a fiat)

Cant be arsed to do the drivers side tonight, passenger side is sorted though.

thank GOD, was making me hate my GP.

Alas, back in my old laguna, the speakers actually had foam speaker baffles. even the sodding jack.wheel brace holder had a vibration baffle... fiat plz copy this,
