just bought a fli 12" sub with built in amp and done all the wiring apart from the blue remote wire as i cant find anywhere in my head unit for it to go, the head unit is an xplod one its got sub in, sub out(i plugged wires in here), audio out front then the normal wires but in corner there is a blue hole but unsure what it is anyone help ?
please

On my pioneer headunit there was a blue wire about 5-6 inches long hanging from the back folded with a little bit of tape covering to it,try looking for a blue wire with a little remote sticker on it, you may have to strip it and side attach it. hope iv helped.

If worse comes to worst. you may need to get a better head init.

try the yellow first if your gonna use ignition, red is normally for positive.

if it has pre out's on it then being a sony unit the remote cable is probaby integrated as part of the ISO harness, its light blue, just looks at the wires, there shouldnt be anything going to the wire from the car but if you test it, it has a switched 12V feed, just crimp the remote to that

if you dont have crimpers i just twisted it around and taped it.

on my sony Xplod the remote cable comes out the bk of the HU with all the normaly ISO wires and has a littel sleve over it saying "AMP REM MAX 0.3A" (thats on my old sony cant rember if my new one like it think it is thow )

Hope this helps tom

cheerz guys fitted tonight and it was a wire it was twisted between the other wires, ill put pics up soon of the car :)
thanks again :D

i think ive got the same head unit, i just spliced it into the cig lighter dead easy in a gp just pull the tray out from the back it splits just underneath the cig lighter socket that little pocket at the bottom of the hand brake. hope that made sense and helps lol

I have the same 12 active fli sub, and have learned the hard way of having 2 dead batteries :( lol, this may sound a bit silly but people are saying splice the wires to the cig lighter wires, am i being thick but which wires are these lol, as in what wires from stereo to cig lighter or from car? (i get confused real easy an am totally baffled by this)
