Yeah I spose i could come up not too sure where it is yet but its on 1st of June isnt it. That sound like a good timescale to get my sub installed properly even if the Computer isnt up and running. Has the FF got a stall there.

TBH, road noise isn't really much of an issue in the Panda, I might stick some Dynaliner on there though, depends on funds.

Also, with well over 100wrms going into the comps, you can't hear much else!!!

Road noise on my 1.2 is dire on stone embedded tarmac & superquiet on plain tarmac, but as most roads are chipped it makes a constant rumbling noise.
Still got the factory fitted crap eco tyres on which make it worse.
Need advice as to quiet tyres that fit my rims(y)

Hi there im looking for some advice on a system for my mark 2 punto, not looking to spend a load of cash on it just something that will sound good atm in time im running a jvc um... KD summit head unit with ipod control and for the money its good, with the standerd fiat components, first of all im looking for a nice set of comps for the front that will run straight of the head unit, rather than amping them up, secondly i know 6x9s are the enemy, so do i run a set of coxials in the back for a bit of sound or simply a sub??? for the sub im looking at a 12" idealy as id like it to drop quite low and from what i see from a 12" its a good comprimise, im looking at jbl because its always been amazing budget I.C.E,

comps ive been looking at a set of hertz,

if any body can help me please PM me or add me to msn messenger

thank you :)

Nice work, love the setup! I actually smile each time I see an install without a £500 bass system and £50 worth of front speakers (or rear! oh, the horror...). What's the Panda like installwise? Easy to work in?

Got a pair of Hertz Space K8L myself, I'll probably go for a Celestra or Steg amp, nothing decided yet.

But that all depends on taste you will see that in many a younger persons car because modern dance music is is very much based on bass unlike rock music where the Mid and treble of drums, snair and guitars ect dominate over bass.

Alliante, Rockford Fosgate Audiophile or something a little more exotic????

i listen to alot of Hardcore and Drum N Bass, thats why i felt the need for 2subs as loud as i could afford yes in the Hardcore there is alot of mid and treble but its all dominated by bass (y)

Not sure if you're thinking of the same thing Stu. The Velodyne only needs 100-300wrms depending on how it's installed and is electronically limited to 125dB.

Not heard back from the guy yet so it's not a definate.

I was just asuming that the car audio was similar to their home stuff and the 8" is around 1000w rms.

That really is exotic. Servo controlled? Is it a modified home sub or a Velodyne car audio product I've yet to hear about? Or do we just have to wait and see?

EDIT: Is it a DF12SC?
