i am upgrading my W-reg punto stereo, have bought the necessary facia replacement thing, but am unsure on how to remove the standard radio? do i need any special tools?? cud i make some if so, or will it need me to visit the dealership to get them to do it??

any help would be greatly apreciated!!

cheers

you can use feeler blades to poke at the retaining clips, or use a hammer as you won't ever need your standard stereo again!

Halfords sell the little 2 prong tools to get your radio out, purchase some for like £3.99 and it comes out no probs. Just dont try and do the same for a stilo cos they dont fit, they're not available, and even Fiat technicians use cut up coat hangers! very professional dont you think!
