i always check the fans by hardwiring them to the battery but as i had the time i plugged the laptop in looking for previous fault codes
(see blue crosses in photo for fuse and relay location)
relay clicked and seemed to work but had failed.low mileage nice car so not gone on age or mileage.be warned and check yours in case we get some good weather or you too could have a h/g pop
relays should be less than £10 brand new,i used a good s/h one
never seen this before
fiatecuscan brought the problem up under its actuation programme
