The Important Bit
I do not take any responsibility for any damage that may come to you or the property around you
the work you carry out is your own, if you don't feel qualified or brave enough to tackle any job - consult professional help!

Your work is your own - i have only created this guide to show you what i have done to remedy my squeaky interior fan

Tools required

The required
- Cotton buds
- Some sort of oil, bearing oil, wd40, 3in1 anything will work really, if you can apply via a straw it makes this job 10x easier!
- Different punto's have different fixings's I've seen Phillips and small bolts holding these in, so you need to investigate first really

I also used some contact cleaner - it just helps with removing muck - yuck and grime, not required but i had it to hand :)

Removal, cleaning, refitting, testing

1. Locate the fan in the passenger foot-well
2. Disconnect Fans power feed

3. Remove the 3 fixings that hold the fan in place, on mine they were 5.5mm hex, but have seen phillips before too!
2 are easy to see, 1 is kind of hidden at the back, i've highlights on this image where all 3 are

4. The Unit will now be removable from its area and onto the workbench
5. Flip the little protector cover off the center of the base of the fan

6.I used some contact cleaner to help collect the gunk - ran half a dozen cotten buds around collecting as much fluff as possible

7. Spray the little tiny bearing with a dribble of oil - let it soak and again another little dribble

Flip it back over
Spray the what looks like a bushing instead at the top

A straw will help loads here, so you can get right onto it

8. There is another side to the bottom bearing through an opening on the casing, if you have a straw - feed it down to where you first oiled the first bearing, but on its other side, i believe its the bottom one that squeaks, but lets hit all the bases at once
Do it right once, or do it wrong twice
Sorry i dont have a picture as i didnt have a straw to oil mine with

9. Wipe any dribbles up
10. Place back into the fans area, i find it easier to get the rear one to locate/pilot first, then do the 2 easy front ones

11. Reconnect the power to the fan
12. Test your fan, it may for well smell of oil, but it should subside fairly quickly

13. enjoy a nice squeak free motor, how long i don't know but its a 10min job if you know what your doing :)

Hope this helps
