Removal
Now Fiat don't want you to change the bulbs in these - they want some easy money, hence why in the manual it says you need to visit the workshop
But bulb changing is a different section (see section list)
Removal is pretty simple
Ignoring the fact i have DRL lights on my fog trims, you simply need to pull the fascia out at the angle shown
if the trim fails to move, lean into a cold engine bay down to where the trim is, you should be able to see and feel the clip, these may need a little heat or push to help them release
With the trim removed you are left with an exposed fog light unit
To allow the whole unit to be removed, there are 3 fixtures that need removing
Under the bumper there are 2x self tapping screws, gently work these out
if there tight on removal, the tighten and loosen method will work fine here
These are the easy ones, the hard 1 is next
You may see the fog mounting seems to mount to the bumper at the top, which is somewhat very hard to see
As you can see the picture here,
there is a small threaded shaft for the nut, which sits in the bumper, all you need todo is take your time to release this nut
Access is poor and it took me 5 mins per nut
With the fixtures released, push the bottom of the mounting backwards towards the car, allowing the top to be release and exposing the electrical connector which simple pulls off after the tab
Wiggle the unit as it comes out
Ho-ray! You've got the whole unit out!
Refitting is the opposite of removal
