refitting

so you have a spacer and 2 paper gaskets

spacer being fitted.JPG

as you see this is placed in 1st.take care to ensure the inlet manifold face is clean to ensure a tight seal(oh remove the rag ;) )
ensure the bolt holes in the gaskets are aligned with the bolt holes.

now put the 2 long bolts in the 40mm TB
and place over the spacer.

now i used the bolts to hold the top gasket and spacer in place as i
carefull aligned it all.
take care to ensure the lower gasket doesnt move out of position.
it will most likely move a few times before you get it.

take you time here as a damaged/poorly fitted gasket will give grief later

once aligned bolt down the 2 bolts to torque(i'll try and find this out) or tight ;)
(if you removed the whole TB then skip this next bit but refit all the coolant/fuel pipes you removed)
now place the TB top back over the 40mm TB and bolt in place.

reconnect the throttle cable and electrical connectors

now get the airbox and place it over the TB.
refit the vacuum/breather hoses

push the airbox down over the mounting stubs and bolt down with the 2 nuts/spacers.
reconnect the airfeed pipe

reconnect the battery - terminal
