I was just going to look at eibach sportline springs

could hear the front strut tie brace cutting the grass and bouncing off various clods of mud yesterday.. Although i did get a tad "enthusiastic" at one point down that track.... (private land) ;) still it was worth a drive managed to bag quiet a few rabbits out the drivers window..,,, Keep my mates ferrets fed for a few weeks..... (wonder if fiat do a gun rest for the door card :chin:

JackFi its horrible on really uneven roads, its quite harsh but not as bad as coilovers though!
However, i would recommend them.
With a full car the rear wheels hit the arches when bumps are hit but its still a good ride when full.

Hi Chris,

any chance you can enquire on which dampers are used in this kit? H&R don't manufacture dampers so these will be outsourced more than likely.

I've seen a competing kit with Koni STR dampers and paired H&R springs which might be another way to go........

Arguably less lowering, but the damper quality will make or break a suspension, not so much the spring. I've played with various combinations over the years and have learned a few lessons along the way.

I would be interested in joining the group buy, but allot depends on which kit and what dampers are being used by the supplier of the kit. For non coilover applications, Bilstein, Koni and Spax in that order are acceptable, but obviously not all products are equal e.g. Bilstein B4 and B6 are night and day :D

I went for eibach springs and Bilstein shocks in the end :)

Which Bilstein shocks and at what cost overall?

I already know the answer on the subject of how it rides and feels :p Good combo (y)

So I'm guessing the group buy is dead then?
