Count me In I want to do doors, floor, bonnet, boot, boot lid. How much would I need?.
Im not doing it for Audio reasons just sick of road noise and harshness, I have to strip my drivers side door down to replace the check strap anyway so may as well line it with this stuff too.

If im correct its open cell so the air movement (sound) can get through the gaps and the proper stuff is closed cell so noise bounces off the bubbles.

Yes but why pay for something that might work, when you know that the proper stuff will work. Seems like a false economy to me
at bnq mayb go real builders merchants and get 30-40% trade discound its cheap as chips

It does work, but not as good so you need far more of it to gain similar results plus it's prone to falling off in hot weather!
its hard enough to work with on a roof, trying to get **** in your doors in one piece wil be a right B**l ache, i'd never try it myself, sounds like a massive wast of time, unless you had two days free and a roll of roofing felt fall of a truck outside your house
