Parts - Forum Bulk Buy? Barchetta

Occasionally, on the Lancia forum (sadly my only other social interaction besides THIS forum!) somebody organises/ hears of some parts being made for a particular model which can be bought at a cheaper price if, say, ten people want the part.

I was wondering whether we should have a threat/ sticky where some items can be offered or a 'waiting list' be complied for various bits.

For starters, I'm sure that there are at least ten B owners here that need a drivers side plastic flap that covers the roof fixing point when down. I know I keep breaking them! Perhaps tonneau seals. Perhaps gas struts that assist lifting the roof. Things like that.

Is it an idea worth pursuing? :shrug:

I think it's an excellent idea Lima, I'm sure Alan will sort something out when he is back online.

On another note, I love the Series 1 Fulvia is it right or left hand drive?

Ah... I see this has been moved to the general FIAT folder now...

I must admit that I am guilty of only ever really looking at the section relevant to my car , so I didn't think to look elsewhere... but then again, shouldn't Bulk Buy Barchetta Bits be in the Barchetta section so that the right people see it? ? ?

and Afroking, the fulvia is a RHD car.

no all the B lot need to get out more, all the group buys for all the other fiats go in this section too, be no point in this section if everyone just keeps doing threads in their sections.

this section is new an needs filling

if people don't use the forum as its intended then they are going to miss out on a lot of things, we have some good events in events section, an in leisure lounge often people post up bargains like wrong priced internet goods, that often come good, loads of us got dirt cheap sat nav and PC's like that
