I know i have seen a post about this before but cant find it (its probably stairing me in the face) Any how i have noticed that the screen demister suround is lifting away from the dash I take it this is a common fault? it apears to be peeling back from the Dash at the ends. Yep, seems like a common problem. I had mine replaced once but its popped up again. I suspect it might have something to do with the heat being trapped in the car if its parked outdoors..

this wasnt uncommon on many cars back in the 80's. it was understandable in those days, the quality of plastic wasnt very good so it easily warped in the heat. lets be honest, its no surprise that the GP's plastic is as bad as a car from the 80's. as long as its under warranty you should be able to get it replaced for free.

That's right warranty would cover it free of charge - otherwise it would have cost me AUD70 for that piece of plastic
