My name is Ailsa and I am new to this site...

My Bf has just perchased a new Fiat Punto Grande - Pulse edition... which he is picking up on thursday. At present he has a Ford Focus and for Xmas being a nice gf that I am I bought him a Cd Player and facia etc for the focus.

We need to transfer they cd player from the Focus to the Grande Punto...

Has anyone done this? Do you know where I can get the facia, leads, channeler for the steering wheel controls? Do they even make them for this model of punto yet?

No.....not worth it, give up.
The radio/cd player in the G. Punto is really good anyway.

there's the fascia... the other thing you need is a wiring harness adaptor which i believe depends on the headunit

now im guessing halfords can probably get you both in their audio dept but probably a special order part

Try Ebay, yoy can get facia adapters for £7.99 on Ebay, for leads i would go to halfords.

But the 'leads' are not compatible with the new radio and the G. Punto steering wheel controls.....

dunno overheard t'other day in halfrauds that they do standard iso leads for focus or special order ones to retain steering wheel controls dont know if same would be applicable for the GP

Thanks guys i'll give them a call... I got my bf's cd player from the Newcastle shop, and we had it fitted at the Kingston Park Halfords... Between the two of them the Newcastle one is more help... The Kingston park staff were no help at all on the phone....

I believe its a made up one by the dealerships to shift the cars, they put on bigger alloys and side skirts but underneath its just a 1.2 active but instead of paying £7000 for an active you pay £8289, for £100 of wheels lol
