Hi. I’ve got a groaning noise on my GP (1.9 3000Miles) Its quite an odd one because it doesn’t do it all the time but when it does it’s only when the car is idle as soon as I put any amount of revs on it goes, then when I dope to idle it comes back.

Any idea's what it could be?

Does it happen while braking slightly especially in reverse?.

Not really its just when the car is idle till' I put a few revs on it, its not really loud or anything but its just annoying because I can hear it

Yes it is coming from under the bonet

I hear the same noise

but usually it comes from me when I put my foot down at low engine revs and nothing happens
