I have had a wing mirror knocked off, the damage is to the connection on the body work, how do I get the cable undone to release the mirror.

if you look on the outside there is a plastic clip on cover pop that off (it has 2 plastic clips on one side Cant remember which end (mine wasnt cliped on properly when the car was made so i uncliped it and put it on properly)

behind that there are 2 large torx (star shape screws) and a multi plug for the electrics IIRC
