does anyone know how to remove the handbrake handle and replace it with a new one? thanks

aftermarket handles (such as momo) usually slip over the old one and fit perfectly. the other option (with cheap universal handles) is to cut off the old one. i wouldnt recommend doing that.
hand brake
i want to change my handbrake 2 sumthing like a momo handbrake or sumthing but im not sure how it works. do u take the old one off all does it go over the top ot what im reli not sure, can sum1 please tell me?

ive dun this, im sure you will be scared at what i am going to say now, i now have a momo handbrake, you have to saw the old one off then place this one over the other bit, but be careful of ur seats and the button i was and mine looks fine!

saw it off lol oh ryt haha, ok den. were about coz i dnt wana get the wrong bit. hav u got any pics that u can show me of ur interior so i can get a feel for what it looks like first?

ignore the wires around the handle as they have now been hidden away thank god! and saw it longways it will make it much easier!

the fascia plate isnt the same colour as the rest of the dash is it?
can you get them the same colour or are they all the same?
also is there any over way of connecting the neons up other than through a cigarette lighter?

you could connect the neons but the interior light if you wanted to or another 12v source, no it's grey which has now also been changed to a black fascia as they did not have any black ones when i ordered my fascia plate quite a while ago, look on ebay for the black ones.

Wouldnt recomend running them off teh interior light TBH...
you'd probably be better wiring them in as with a set of foglamps via a relay with a switch in the cabin. Just remember most Neons have the driver circuit encased in the fag lighter plug itself which would need to be re wired (probably with the use of a soldering iron) and proper neon driver circuits put out a very high voltage which can cause serious electric shocks / burns :dead: And LED "neons" often have the voltage regulators / flasher units built in and will burn out if connected directly...
BTW james on the Fog light thread i have put up a wiring diagram hope it makes it look easy

I think he was confused in the fact it was poor english.
