can anyone help me with this, i am looking to buy the sub that fits the gp and was wondering if this was it??

do you know how much they are from fiat, would it be expensive and what is the sound like?

Its about £150 if you order it with the car so I don't have a clue you may be able to get a deal if you try. And as for the sound you can tweak all the options for the kind of music you listen too and it sounds great! . Not enough to vibrate your door trimings but definatly enough to know its there and enrich the sound. It was way better than my mates GP active sport (without Sub).

P.S if you PM SchooweeNick he may be able to get you one cheap as he works in a Fiat dealer.

I enquired about how much the sub would be from fiat when my car was in having the recall plate thing done. I was quoted £63 including vat for the sub alone without fitting but one of the technicians said it wasnt possible to retrofit it as the loom is completely different So I ordered the armrest instead which came to £122 with all the required extra bits to ensure it fitted. It should be here in 2days so lfingers crossed it will be a straight forward fit tlike the genuine honda one I fitted in my previous HRV

How do you tweak as ordering one.

I paid for it to be fitted to my car Grande punto and I think it was the biggest waste of money I have ever made, I'm just hoping I might find some wiring in there to an amp that I can reuse to put a better amp/sub in there though judging by the sound it probably has no amp and is just some poxy cheapass speaker, not £150 worth!

have had a Pioneer version of this for years now and have fitted it in 3 different cars. it is OK does what it is meant to. It is not as good as a proper seperate amp and speaker box set up but certainly it's better than nothing

Play with the Bass / Treble / EQ Settings on the Radio to suit the music you play .

So the sub comes on with the radio/CD, no separate power?

Exactly right . Has its own inbuilt amp for it from what I could see as I only had the radio out once briefly.

Yes its very good for a factory standard setup the GP is a solid car and it shows in its sound system (very high volume with no rattle) defiantly a worth while purchase with the Sub as you still get 99% of your boot space unlike the aftermarket ones.
