Yes, because then i'll see exactly how little bhp mine has in 1st 2nd and 3rd.:bang:

Dont know if you guy's followed the Stilo thread but we had a fantastic day..

Saw over 200bhp on the 2.4's and one of the JTD's saw 167bhp and 317lb/ft of torque!! (with the induction kit.) Up from 115bhp standard!
Without the induction we saw 152bhp and 280lb/ft..

The costs involved were...

Remap £200inc
RR £30inc

Well worth it!

We're going to do another one very shortly in bromsgrove, birmingham! (y)

What can you do for the GP sporting MJTD?

1.9 120bhp & 130bhp: +35bhp, +65Nm

1.3 90bhp: +30bhp, +65Nm

1.3 75bhp: +25bhp, +60Nm

1.4 16v: +11bhp, +12Nm

1.4 8v: +8bhp, +11Nm

1.2: +7bhp, +9Nm

All quotes are based on standard cars. More power can be exrtacted but smoking will occur. Power/torque increases for cars with induaction and/or exhaust I will come up later. They are currently under development.

ohhh! 11bhp more from my 1.4 16v sporting sounds nice! that'll push it up to just under 110bhp. I am very tempted, though there are a few things that worry me:
1. Will this kind of remap damage the engine or components? i mean surely everything has to work harder?
2. Will the dealer ever be able to find out? i.e. will it affect the warrenty?

cheers

Done 1.4 Punto with induction and map. The power output before was 96bhp and 91.3lb ft. After mapping and induction it was just over 114bhp and 110lb ft. No problems with running and it is running for quite some time with it now. This sort of powert increase is rather safe. I wouldn't go over 130bhp without changine internal components.

The dealer will not be able to detect the map. The examiner can't pick up on software changes. If it is found out the warranty would be affected. But a lot of the dealers turn a blind eye to it.

I am thinking about a re-map for the GP (Multijet 90bhp) but an idea of the cost would be good before I commit

I agree on the remap for this car, easily the most difficult engined car I have ever driven. have heard that there is a factory remap which brings in the power at 1250, mine bangs in at 2000!!
