Yeah, we've got 2 usb sockets.
One's for us to connect a usb flash drive/i-pod and is labelled with the 'windows' sticker and has a rubber bung.....the other's for nothing to do with us (service stuff).....pretty obvious.
As regards your i-pod.....you need to only load songs onto it in mp3 or wma...aac and the others are incompatible.
Make sure you are 'Importing' the songs into I-Tunes correctly.
Go into the I-Tunes 'preferences', go to the 'Importing' section and click on 'mp3'.....then load a music cd in the tray and "Import" the album/song.
OR if you just want to convert a song to the mp3/wma format......go into the I-Tunes preferences, go to 'Importing' and click on mp3/wma.
Close preferences and then go to the song that you want to convert.
Highlight that song and then right click on it.
There will be a 'label that says 'convert to mp3'
Click on this and I-Tunes will convert the song to mp3 format.
You will then have 2 of the same song, one in the original format and the other in mp3/wma format.
You will need to go into the I-Tunes main 'Music Library' to find it.
Personally, I strongly recommend a USB Flash Drive, you can get a 1GB for £14, 2GB for £25 on-line at kelkoo.co.uk, etc.
They definitely work ALL the time unlike I-Pods and other players that are notoriously glitchy, they don't need any power, they 'free up' your I-Pod and they allow you to download, store and install any future updates to Blue&Me like the latest one that gets it to 'Read' your 'Text' messages.....nifty eh.
Any other problems I suggest you swing by your dealer.....they've heard it all before!
