General Regarding 'How many GP's are there...'

Having just added my details to the bottom of the ever growing list of GP's in the forum (I haven't actually got it yet, but as it's now in Bristol I feel she is calling me!), I was reading through and noticed how mine was the first 1.9 120 eleganza. There are plenty of 130hp sportings.

Is there a reason for this? Am I the only person who wants 5 doors? or is there a conspiracy against this subspecies?

Well the vast majority of the GP's buyers are young men between 18-24 and for that age range all they think about is its looks and how quick it goes they don't bother about 5 doors until they get kids . Well thats what its like for me anyway . The Eleganza is thought of as the daddy option.

Lol I would of got the Sporting then . I have to sell mine as I have a sprog due in Feb so Im looking at a used Alfa 156 2.5V6 .

yea.
im 17.. and the reason for me gettin a 3door grande (1.4 sporting)
was due to resale. as you said, people wanting these cars are young men ect, so when it comes to resell.. more of the younger groups 17/18/19 will want this 2nd hand car as their 1st car.

i cant understand why their are so few 1.3 90hp multijets i mean fair enouth most people want the 120-130 hp 1.9 but i whould have the 1.3 multijet over the 1.4 petrol any day of the week it is a much better engine for the car as the petrols these days are lacking in low end torque due to euro emitions

Actually fellas I'm a single parent who was very excited about getting my 1.9 Sporting after running around in my 'sensible' Panda 1.2 5 door Eleganza....!!!

Its aint just the fellas who enjoy a good ride!!!!

Just be carefull with all that torque . It is perfectly acceptable as a small family car (i.e one child) as its quite roomy . The only reason im selling it is financial reasons .

Im 18 and I have the Eleganza. I just find 5 door more practical when im giving lifts to mates and im loving all the toys it came with
