I have had new car for a 4 days now and over the last 2 i have had a warning light come on (3 times) and the message saying hill hold failure please consult your manual. The manual say contact fiat has anyone else had this proplem if so was it easy to sort.

Also a less so inportant one when i plug my mp3 player in i can only skip to the next track manualy if i just let it play it will repeat the same track over and over again. my player does not do this when i listen to it outside my car. I can not find a repeat option anywhere on the car anyone got any ideas.
Apart from that am well pleased with it!!!!!

Presumably you have the Blue&Me instruction book? Page 52:
Press the "Windows" button and say "Shuffle Off"

Regarding the 'Hill Holder'....I've been told that disconnecting the car battery using the 'negative' quick release clip and leaving it off for 30 minutes cures a multitude of 'glitches'
Nice car though isn't it.....great value for money!

Excuse me, press the "Windows" button and say "Loop Off".
That will deactivate the 'Track Repeat' feature.

If either of those 2 suggestions don't work it is quite possible that the Mp3 player isn't entirely compatible.
The most reliable way of doing it is to buy a USB Stick and load your songs onto it.
Good luck.

I had the problem with the hill holder saying that it was unavailable, my ABS and EBD went at the same time. Took it to the dealer and it was a faulty earth, replaced, problem solved:D ...for now lol.

For the media player, if you press the windows key and say "repeat off" it should solve the problem, drove me mad for ages.

yeah both problems all sorted the dealer installed new software for hill hold and mp3 is sorted thanks people

they did say that as well but the said they had put new software on it to strange, the sales person and the service department all said that this is a known problem and there was a software update

My hill holder has had apparant new software updates, been reset, switches changed, all wires checked, 20 mile test drive with service technician having no problems and as soon as i get in the car on my way home, it goes again!! :bang:

Is it me?

Constant hill holder failure everytime I brake.

Warning light remains until a few hours later.

Turning engine off and then on again will not clear it.

when i had the problem the dealer told me that it is clutch sensitive so if your foot is resting on the clutch it could set it off dont know if that is any help to you

Have had exactly as you say before on pandas, wasn't until customer drove car during test drive it became apparent. Not saying this is whats happening to you Dan.

Cheers, I'll give it a try and see what happens.

Maybe I'm depressing the clutch to early while braking
