hi. collected my 1.4 16v eleganza recently, which came with locking wheel nuts in the bottom of the boot. on each wheel, it looks as though one is a locking one already fitted.

do i need to do something here?!

thanks in advance.

The locknuts are fitted by UK dealers - to satisfy the car's UK specification; therefore the nuts in your boot are one original from each wheel - which were replaced by the locknut. You'll also find the locknut key in the box.

I've got the same locking wheel nut thingies but have'nt got around to looking at them yet. Taken me a while to accept that I don't have a spare wheel or a jack or anything. Hope that emergency tyre thing is good. What happens if you have a complete blow out (of the tyre kind) on the motorway and the tyre is totally shredded. That poxie emergency get-me-home kit is'nt gonna be much use then is it? ps. Please don't tell me it's just me without a wheel or jack...
