(G) Colour Coded Rub Strips Grande Sporting 130

Hi folks,

I've just ordered my 130 Sporting in black from my local dealer this weekend.

Noticed with the showroom model (GMD Chester le Street) it has the black plastic rub strips down each side - but all of the photos I've seen on this site show the Sporting without these.

I don't want any black plastic down each side, as is a nightmare for getting polish on and as a result, whitening the black plastic! I've emailed my dealer requesting to not have the side strips - just wating for response.

Any suggestions? Those of you with Sportings....did yours come with plastic side strips?

think you have to pay £20 extra for them (optional)

Dont come as standard.
