Has anyone got a sporting in Chemical Grey and could they show some pictures of it please. There is one on autotrader and looks really nice, just would like some more photos of it to make my mind up between that and new orleans blue.

In any colour ( well - almost any colour ) , a beautiful car IMHO . Simple lines - and shows its heritage at different aspects, to both the Mark 1 and Mark 2 ( I won't mention the mark 2.5 tho - ugly front !!! ).

What does that badge on the left side of the boot say?

Thank goodness I chose red!Yuk!

i like it but for any potential buyers i would avoid silver.
IMHO the silver makes the lines of the GP blur out and kills its look

I like it - but then this is the colour we've ordered - and with skydome which it looks like this one has. Is that as far back as the front glass panel moves?

I agree the Grey looks OK.. but not as nice as pretty much every other colour. It even looks pretty good in white! .

Thanks ChrisUK - for a minute there, I was concerned it only llifted up at the back, rather than sliding - that would have been poor!.

As for the colour - my top choices were chemical grey (obviously, as ordered - great with the skydome), red, and merengue orange. There are plenty of orange cars available at the minute though, so I think it's just a fad...

^ My sentiments exactly, Jug feel free to enlighten us on your opinion. The reason I picked red was because its a Sporting and there are two colours unique to the sporting: Exotica Red and Merengue Orange.

Both really nice colours in person but in the book the red won, and a plain colours didn't cut it for me would make it look like any other punto except for the wheels and interior.

They say the Reds exclusive to the sporting but i've seen 2 actives and a dynamic in it too now

It is now, but at the time of placing my order it was only availible on the sporting.

I ordered mine on the launch weekend and even then they had a red active sat out the back!

Kinda p*ssed me off they call it special paint for the sporting when it was quite obviously not......

I also don't understand why you've got to pay £225 for 'special paint' when every other manufacturer don't charge for bargin basement but gorgeous on a GP red!
