1.3 Multijet Dynamic, 5 door.

1 Fuel pump, excessive noise - now fixed.
2 Both rear doors difficult to open from outside - now fixed.
3 Small paint chip on tailgate - paint ordered - ongoing.
4 Excessive noise from suspension/steering - under investigation - ongoing.
5 Drivers seat height adjustment fails to hold - dealer notified - ongoing.

Apart from that it's going ok!,.....1900 miles up, and the engine is loosening up.

Number 5 is probably not a fault> Read here

With me it also don't hold but it's because of the problem described in that topic.;)

not bad for a new car. nothing major.
i once bought a brand new daewoo lanos, lets just say daewoo offer 5 years warranty because they wouldnt sell their cars without it. everything broke twice, although to be fair i abused the car daily.

faults on my active sport 1.4 8v

1- wouldnt go into reverse- so they adjusted stuff and fixed it
2- a loud rattle and banging - fixed (me exhaust was hanging off)
3- another rattle - turned out to be the passenger side front suspension (fixed by me hitting a speed bump at 35 cos i wasnt watching where i was going and nearly killing my self)

part from that its all good (y)

Gavin, Hi, How did you get your back doors fixed, I,ve got the same problem.
Dealer said that the technician shortened the cables linking the rear outside handles to the latching mechanism, works correctly now.

1.Door Mirror loose- Fixed by tightening the bolts
2.Clunking noise from front wheels-Informing them 2moro
3.1st and 2nd gear hard to engage-as above
4.Passenger door wont open from inside-looked at couldnt find a problem
5.Funny squealing noise when air cons on-Informing them 2moro

Didnt have time to go kick arse today but im going there 2moro to try and get everything sorted, otherwise they can take the car back and sort me out my cash!

None..................none.........none................500miles on 75hp multijet, a dream to drive, great car, very happy, not missing my 04 Mazda 3 one bit, especially when it comes to filling the tank

not bad?! i was thinking of getting a new car but if these are the probds you get i wont bother

5 door 1.3 multijet 90 in crossover black

only one prob and that was the "software glitch" the first day I had the car

Done about 2,000 miles now and no other problems brings back 50 plus MPG most of the time, though using the aircon does seem to effect that quite a bit especially as it hot at the moment last tank full only got 48 mpg

One general question If you use the key to open the door on the pasesnger side should it open all the doors? if it should then I do have a fault

What kinda of fuel consumption are you getting Bogman out of interest?
Depends, I live in a fairly hilly area and in out to the city often, average 50mpg driving it harder than the Mazda, in any level open ground it averages 10-15mpg more again, quicker than the 1340cc Mazda and that was averaging 35/36 to the gallon

V70 faults to date, all fixed -
1) Front near side suspension mounts fowling smooth operation of suspension & breaking systems (required specialist machining of mounts!)
2) Rear seat back locked at about -30º from vertical
3) Front passenger air bag kept on sending phantom deployed signals when braking hard (this causes an emergency fuel cut)
4) warped/mis-shapen spare wheel
5) During modification it was noted there was a bolt missing on the engine side of the exhaust manifold (tuners fixed free of charge)
6) It wasn't quick enough
