Hi everyone

What happens directly after you order your car..i've got all my finance stuff and order form from the day i ordered it....but do you get anything through the post from the dealer or Fiat.

You don't get anything from Fiat, you've now just got to wait for the call from the dealer to say the cars arrived.

Trust me though its worth the wait.

Which model you ordered ??

you ring them they say a day, it dont come they tell you another day it still dont come, they say its in the docks and will be here soon, it still dont come, they loose the car.

Ive ordered the 1.416v sporting in met blue.
Can you shed any light on my other post regarding blue&me. you seem to be clued up mate.

Hi Lee, as you might know I ordered my 1.4 Sporting a few days before you. I'm going to give my dealer a call tomorrow to find out if there's been any progress - suggest you do the same too. Don't be too disappointed if it's still not in production. As far as I'm aware the dealer had no idea when production was due to start although you can reasonably presume that it has now that Fiat UK have done some press on the new engine.

As for Blue & Me, I'm completely lost. I previously had a JTD model on order with optional Bluetooth but this was never made because of the switch to the newer Blue & Me system and the ensuing delays.

The dealer's told me that Blue & Me will be fitted so I'll be pretty angry if it isn't.

I sent the salesman that sold me the car an email.... Here was his response.


"Still awaiting for your car to be built, as far as I know there aren't any 1.4 16v Sportings that are actually built yet! All the cars that are UK bound in theory should be coming together unless the buyers have opted for any extras.

There is only currently one version of Blue & Me, the previous Bluetooth system in the first models is solely a hands free phone connection and nothing else. The system fitted to your car has a fully working USB socket, this is a new system which replaces the old. Any cars that are being built with this option should now be leaving with the all singing and dancing Blue & Me.

I'm sorry that I can't be anymore exact with dates and times with regards to your car, but it's hard to say when it's so many miles away in a factory, but needless to say as soon as I have news I will be in contact!"
