other places are saying it will be 240bhp, just hope it comes true

old news to me, i heard about the twin turbo becoming available but no specs which makes interesting reading

sounds intresting... 220/240bhp in a GP should be alot of fun! Although its bring myself to liking the GP... maybe if the abarth is different, some nice wide archs and 18" alloys :yum: and not as plastic interior im affraid! I bet these are high on insurance though :bang:

Fink ill be keeping the stilo for quite a while and we'll have to see in a few years once they've been out for a while!

Keep the updates cuming though is intresting stuff... its about time fiat actually had a proper hot hatch! I was hoping the abarth GP was going to be supercharged though as im not a turbo fan! Im sure i read it on there website some were.....

I heard that before release date, but can you really see 4 different turbocharged engines in the GP? No, nor me...

The new Corsa is gonna have a 140hp 1.6 engine, so that looks like the performance version in the Punto. Then I presume there will higher performance version, but who knows, that could be a couple of years away yet...

Did I say 140? I meant 180 lol

cant see them doing 1.4 1.6 and 1.8 turbo's though... when they only have 2 petrol engines as it is iirc?

One, maybe 2 tub petrols i'd imagine. 2.0 turbo would be nice coupled with 4wd.

yeah i can imagain them doing a smaller 1.4 or like turbo, then a bit later on a twin turbo abarth jobbie maybe?

Does anyone know what sort of dates these turbo verisons will be available from?

not forgettin the punto is a corsa in discize

I was last updated on this a month or so ago and was told to expect the Grande Punto GT this summer which will be a 1.4 Turbocharged unit producing 140 BHP and to expect the Abarth summer 2007 and that would be a 2.0 litre turbocharged taken from the Coupe and people already know the figures which are 240 BHP.

Hopefully FIAT will deliver, I have faith in them!
