I'm well chuffed, the car looks great:cool: drives really well and as for all the toys its going to take me a week to read the handbook.

Wow, how many cars do you have?

I count 5 including your Punto

LOL The pics were taken at my parents house, the Audi A4 & 307 cc are my mom and dads and the 2 BM's are thier nextdoor neighbours.

are you all the way from the US mate?

Car looks wicked BTW

the car looks fantastic. I love how the wheel arches are filled by the alloys. I think you might find some graining and degradation on the tyres lol

So how does it compare to the vRS? ;)

Funny you should ask, just been for a drive and took the car on the M5 and would you believe it the first car a see is a Red vRS like yours, he soon moved out the way and let me past:D

TBH don't think the GP is quite as quick as the vRS but the handling and brakes are better on the GP.

The handling has really surprised me, coming from a MINI Cooper I was expecting this to be the area where I would notice a big difference but the GP has really surprised me even the stearing feels good(y) .

Build quality is excellent, I would say on a par with the Skoda.

My only niggle is that the steering column makes a clicking noise at low speed when turning left as if somethings catching, but I'll pop back to the dealer next week and get them to have a look.

But overall I'm really really please with the car and have forgotten about all the problems I had before i got it (for now).

I disagree with you on the build quality front. The Fabia still has the GP licked when it comes to quality of materials and general put-together-ness, but the GP is a whole hell of a lot more fun to drive, that's for sure!

That said, definitely the best Fiat for fit and finish yet. I'm glad they didn't try to pretend to be VW like they did with the Stilo. The Stilo was (is) a miserable failure. They tried to make it like a Golf, by using soft touch plastics and making it handle like a bag full of sh*t.

As it turned out the plastics weren't up to much, and the money they spent on them was robbed from the styling department.

Hence no sales.

Anyway, I'm pleased that there are no chrome plated door handles on the GP.

Dear Friends , another example how we made cars we had always teach the rest of the world , and by the way Grande Punto its the 1 number one car in Europe!!

Ciao!!!
