LOL no the Fabia is a great car. Its quick, economical well built but I'm just sick of the dull boring interior the only thing I like is the seats which are a pig to keep clean I would like it alot better if it was Blue back lighting instead of green. The reason I ordered the Punto is that I'm moving house and need a cheaper car and the Punto sporting is Insurance group 6 and got a quote for £595 compaired to the £1325 which I pay now for the Fabia (Group 9). The bugger of it all is as soon as I ordered the punto my hand brake failed and it rolled down a hill and hit a parked transit van . I must be breaking a few records ive only had it 2 months

Just make sure they don't try to give you a car thats "already in the country" if you show signs of being impatient. I've had someone elses reject car dumped on me that way before.

Nothing at the moment, dealer was convinced it would be this week but based on the previous promises I aint holding my breath.

The tax on the Mini will need to be renewed by Saturday so I would like it this week.

I've got to the point now where I don't really care anymore I will come when it comes.

Yeah dealer was confident mine be in early this week, i'd give them a ring tomorrow as thats when their system gets updated and theyll be able to see where your cars at.

I spoke to them today and i got someone called Christian looking at the case and today he was collecting information so he will get back to me soon we will see

Christian Smith, he's the same bloke who was dealing with my complaint. I wouldn't expect a reply I first spoke to them 2 weeks ago and I still haven't been called back.

I wonder if there is some serious problems with this variant. Seems odd that so many purchasers are having to way. If they failed the PDI Fiat could be coming up with a bunch of excuses while they are refinished at some bodyshop/garage or something.

Just adding this to that irate Sporting "customer" review on What Car and wondering if it wasn't a demented VW fanboy who wrote that now...

Remember your reading a forum, everyone posts their problems but very rarely good points which gives a bad impression. Go to a honda, skoda, VW forum they all have problems...

I've had some good news today, Fiat UK have confirmed that the car will be delivered to the dealers on Friday so should be getting the car Saturday

Got the Reg number this afternoon, just got to cross my fingers and hope the covernote turns up in time.

I had a phone call from that christian guy today telling me he spoke to the logistics people and mines due in very soon and when it is in i got to give him a ring (gave me his number, etc) and he will arrange a good will gesture for the delay...
